THOUGHTS

Heroes

A hero is best understood against the background of what is the source of conflict in their lives.  In the Archon of Babylon series the typical source of conflict is the demonic realm.  The lead characters don’t struggle against flesh and blood but rather against the principalities and powers of the demonic realm.  A reading of the books will inform the reader how that battle is fought.

Some heroes I’ve had throughout my life:

  • Seabiscuit the racehorse
  • Joe Rantz, member of the 8 man crew that won the 1936 Olympics
  • Nicola Tesla
  • Daniel

The key ingredient for a hero is grit.  I thank Angela Duckworth for making that clear to me.  Most battles are simply won by never giving up.
