The Archon of Babylon
The Archon of Babylon series is an historical fiction drama, stretching from the time of 605 BC to the present. This drama is designed to make the reader aware of the conflict playing out in the spiritual realm. This conflict directly affects the events on earth. Historical events are strictly adhered to and portrayed according to the sources, mostly the Bible. The large cast of characters are portrayed such that the reader can identify with them and begin to grow their own faith just as the characters do.
The history of the nation of Israel can only be understood through a supernatural lens. The spiritual realm is real, though we are conditioned by a materialistic society to block it out. The Archon of Babylon series draws the curtain back and exposes what must have happened during the critical events of 605-575 BC, 175-164 BC, the time of Jesus Christ, and today. A large appendix ends each book so that the reader might learn the historical facts and therefore more clearly be able to discern the spiritual realm.
How to Read the Series
The books should be absorbed as much as read. Therefore, when tempted to stop in order to grasp a concept, instead simply keep reading. Let the unfolding drama do its work of taking the concepts and working them into the reader’s heart. When finished, go back and start again. With each reading the reader will a clearer grasp of the true significance of the Bible and its message. Use the appendix to keep track of the multitude of characters and events and the thought world of seven and sixth century BC. When a difficult name is encountered, pick a pronunciation and stay with it. The author doesn’t know how to pronounce them either. In fact, no one does exactly, not even the scholars.
